Edamame…because it doesn’t have gluten and I can eat it whenever I want.

All things Burt….because it’s just that good.

Her….because she spared my favorite pair of boots and is starting to figure out where to go to the bathroom.

Him…just because.

Her & Her Laughter….because it is the loudest, most contagious anywhere.

Color….because it moves me.

Love….because it ROCKS!

Well, it WAS my birthday a couple of days ago and I had THE BEST Birthday I’ve ever had! Kind of ironic considering I was a wee bit stressed about turning 30…but I must say it feels good to have hit this number and I don’t feel any different (of course). My birthday started with breakfast in bed – gluten free crepes (thanks G), followed by the discovery of Flamingos & a giant Happy 30th Birthday sign on my lawn, courtesy of my parents sense of humor.
I spent the day running errands, having a mani-pedi done with my sister & daughter, and then finished off with kids swimming lessons & a relaxing therapeutic massage. Yumm.
Then last night we finished off the celebrations with my closest friends & family and had a Mexican Fiesta (my mom made the food, YUMMY) followed by a giant gluten-free cake with my face on it. Nothing like eating your nose on your birthday.
I won’t claim it was the most delicious cake I’ve ever had, but it was edible and I was able to eat cake on my birthday so I was happy. Party on! A HUUUUGE thank you for my friends & family for celebrating with me and making my 30th birthday everything I had hoped it would be!
Photos of me @ 29+1 courtesy of Wardner Photography (or whatever he wants to call himself).

My big-A#$ cake with my face on it! Sort of delicious.

Gannon & Ryan striking a pose.

These are my girls. As mentioned before, Libby is missing as her husband does his residency in Ontario, but I have to just give a plug for how much I LOVE these girls! I’ve known most of them for 20 years…TWENTY YEARS! That is insane. We reminisced last night about the times we first met…and how awesome it is that we are all still as tight as ever. These girls make me happy! It’s amazing to have such great friends to share your life & your dreams with. I love you girls so much! Thank you for being such amazing friends!!!!
We were all struggling here trying to make 3-0’s correctly with our hands so that the camera could read them.

And in true birthday fashion…Birthday Bumps for the Birthday Girl! hahaha
