I know I haven’t posted in forever…but right now my house is a mad mess of boxes and I’m moving as quickly as I can to get everything packed and ready. We are just days away from our BIG move. Whose brilliant idea was it to do this just days before Christmas??
And to top it off, the weather has decided to turn sour just in time to drive 1000 miles! I guess I’ve been so spoiled with the 60*F weather, clear skies, and good roads that I took it for granted.
As much as I don’t enjoy the snow…I do get a good laugh at how EVERYTHING is closed when the forcast calls for it. (Snow being a skiff, maybe an inch, a small amount). Anyway…as our neighbour so appropriately noted in passing yesterday “I guess this is God’s way of preparing you for Canada!”He’s probably right. Personally though, I took it as a sign that I should head south and move somewhere with warmer weather.
