Remember my adorable little sister who I used to force to model for me endlessly? Well…guess whaaaaaat?????
That’s right. She’s engaged! Think of the fun I’m going to have with these two & my camera!!
I was lucky enough to be in on the little secret her fiance Brady put together, so I was able to photograph the entire event. There was some secret preparation and then yesterday we all headed out to take some photographs of the two of them together. We ended up downtown at the Public Library and wandered through it to see if there were any good spots for some indoor photos (it was freezing). We split off to explore; I took the bottom three floors and they took the top. When we met back up on the 3rd floor of the library (they met on the 3rd floor of their school’s library) Kandice noticed a row of books with strange looking colored dots on them. Inside those books she found photos of her and her now fiance Brady starting from when they first met, up until this past week. The last photo in the last book was a beautiful photo of a diamond ring (yes, I took it) and when she looked up from the photograph Brady was on his knee with the same ring in a tiny little brown box. Needless to say she was stunned, emotional and very excited!
I must give Koodos to Brady for his creativity, and to all of us for braving yesterdays freezing temperatures!
