Laurie & Joel – Calgary Wedding Photographer

I was going to type out this elaborate story about how Laurie & Joel met…but I think the most important thing that I can say about them is that they are truly, deeply in love. It was evident in their very intimate, and emotional (even for me) wedding. There were just a few people present….Laurie & Joel, me, and the officiator. I wish I could express to you how truly special this wedding was…and how moved I was by the love and sincerity I felt during their ceremony.

Laurie & Joel chose to do a “first look.” This is when they see each other for the first time prior to the ceremony. I loved the look on Joel’s face when he saw Laurie in her gown. It was obvious how beautiful he thought she looked…and she was indeed a STUNNING bride!!!!

Ok I know I am biased…but seriously these are amazing! Stunning location but even more beautiful couple. Love is in the air (and water apparently!!).

Oh Heather! I don’t know what to say…. we are beyond thrilled! Thank-you so much for capturing our day.

Can we please book you for June 26 – 2020,2030,2040 etc? We have decided to jump in a lake every year on our anniversary until we physically can’t anymore. We hope to find warmer lakes though! ;)

Great shots with a great background. The one that does look a ‘little’ funny to me is the one with the groom with his hands in his pockets with his back facing the camera. ‘Looks’ like something else is going on. LOL

Your shots of them sitting at the end of the dock together are just perfection and the jump at the end is priceless. These are amazingly personal and intitmate. Beautiful job!
