Here it is! I have had quite a few requests for a workshop just for Moms… so after months of consideration and curriculum building (and maybe just a little anticipation from a few of you), it is finally here! I am teaching a workshop just for moms (and dads)! If you are a professional photographer, or an aspiring professional photographer…this workshop is NOT for you!
As a photographer, I understand the importance of having great family photos, and as a parent I get this on a much deeper level. And, I know from experience that taking photos of children is HARD work! Chances are, as parents….you bought an awesome camera thinking it would dramatically improve your images, but you are still shooting on the automatic setting getting the same point & shoot results, right?!
This workshop is geared towards parents who have a rockin’ DSLR camera but aren’t exactly sure how to use it effectively. My goal is to help you maximize your camera investment and see what it can really do…as well as learn a few tips & tricks to help you grab those great shots. There are so many cute, but quick moments that happen with kids….. now, you’ll be able to capture those moments with ease and get fabulous images you can be proud of!
This workshop will cover:
- SLR Camera 101
- The difference between shooting on Auto and Manual (including explanations of all that weird mumbo jumbo: ISO, f-stop, shutter speed).
- How to shoot Manual
- Raw vs. JPG
- How to shoot successfully with a flash
- How light affects your images
- Tips & Tricks for shooting, including effective composition, geared towards your little ones
- Fabulous bribery and attention getter tricks to hold your little one’s attention
- All the Q&A you can handle

- A DSLR Camera & it’s manual
- A Babysitter
Who can attend this workshop:
- Any Mom (or dad) who is not currently pursuing photography as a career

The Paparazzi Mom Workshop will be held Saturday, Oct 15th & Sunday October 16th.
COST:
$300 per person
This includes 4+ hours of instruction and Q&A….as well as a delightful lunch and cupcakes! We will also go outside and do a sample photoshoot with a child model so I can be there to help each of you if you have questions while shooting.
